Personal Data Policy (UK)

Udskriv

Your personal integrity and our handling of your personal information is important to us. On 25 May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was introduced in Denmark and the rest of the EU. The GDPR replaces the Personal Data Act. The protection of your personal integrity is strengthened, which we warmly welcome, and since we already protect your personal information, this will not make any significant difference to you. It is important to us that you feel confident that we handle your personal data with the utmost care and in accordance with GDPR, so that we can provide you with a positive and relevant experience for the services we offer.

Generally

Personal data is all kinds of information that to one extent or another can be attributed to you. When you use our website, we collect and process a number of such information. This happens if you sign up for our newsletter, SKA NYT, receive SKA publications or participate in an SKA course where we register you as a subscriber or course participant.

Security

We have taken technical and organisational measures to prevent your information from being accidentally or illegally deleted, published, lost, impaired or coming to the knowledge of unauthorised persons, being misused or otherwise processed in violation of the law.

Purpose

The information is used to identify you as a course participant and to be able to deliver the services you request, such as sending a newsletter or professional SKA publications. In addition, we use the information to optimize our services and content.

Period of storage

The information is stored for the period permitted by law, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storage. It is therefore not possible to specify a general time frame for when information is deleted.

Disclosure of information

Data about your use of SKA's website, which publications you receive and which courses you participate in will not be passed on to third parties. We only use a data processor for the storage and processing of data. This person only processes information on our behalf and may not use it for its own purposes.

Insight and complaints

You have the right to be informed about what personal data we process about you. You can also object to the use of information at any time. You can also withdraw your consent to the processing of information about you. If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted.
